'84 Cubs jerseys give away in Peoria on Saturday

After a two game series in Cedar Rapids, the Peoria Chiefs return home on Saturday August 18th to take on the Clinton Lumberkings. Clinton won the first half Wild Card and has already qualified for the playoffs. Saturday night is a busy night at O’Brien Field as the Chiefs and L-Kings play at 6:30 PM. Chiefs players and coaches will be wearing replica 1984 Cubs jerseys as part of MDA Night at the ballpark. All fans can buy a scratch-off ticket for $1 when they enter the gates for a chance to win any of the 28 jerseys. The jerseys will be worn during the game and signed by the player and coach after the game. All proceeds from the scratch-off tickets go to MDA. After the game, the Chiefs will put on another spectacular fireworks show, one of just three remaining in the 2007 regular season. Saturday is also Elvis Night at the ballpark with Elvis music and Elvis themes throughout the ballgame.

Me too, that'd be awesome to have a Sandberg jersey from '84. I wouldn't want it if some random minor leaguer signed it though.
