Can you imagine the crazyness outside of Wrigley for every playoff game... that was one of the best parts about 2003.

Makes me miss the old live stadium cam that used to be on the pre-MLB run Cubs.com. I jused to love to have that up and "watch" the game...

If you are a member of the Cubs Club you get a web cam of inside Wrigley that's pretty cool. It lets you zoom in pretty far.

They took it down after 9/11 because of security concerns. I don't know that it helps, since this is one of the best-known/most photographed structures in the country with or without the cams.

This has led to a new obsession ... it's now a morning ritual for me to monitor the cam as the dude comes out to mount the flags for the Cubs and the day's opponent adjacent to the marquee.

 

He comes out around 9 a.m. eastern.
