i swear, even at this point in the season, i can't look at a pitching line and come even close to guessing how many points it's worth. all i know is that lately, whatever my guy puts up is between -20 and 4 and whatever my opponent puts up is 15-35.

Talking about pitching scores that don't make sense, I had both Marshall and Reyes in my lineup today. Anyone who knows how the game went today would probably conclude that Marshall outpitched Reyes, yet Reyes wound up with slightly over 1.5 more points than Marshall (both were under 10 points).

So much for my once-promising season. I'm now below .500, in 6th place in the East, and 3 games out of the playoffs with 3 weeks remaining. Oh well, it's still better than my two previous seasons.

I can relate to this. For a brief period of time I had the best offense in the league, but then injuries, poor pitching, etc... Ah well, time to be a Cub's fan and say "Just wait until next year!"
