i wish colitis was just a bad case of diarrhea, that would be a breeze compared to what it really is. if bleeding out your bunghole for an indefinite period of time and taking a handful of nasty pills 4 times a day is anyone's idea of a day off, think again.

depending upon whether angel has ulcerative colitis or not, this could be an ongoing issue for him. remission times can last anywhere from a day to 25 years--hopefully the latter for him. welcome to the world of IBD.

My wife has colitis, as does a good friend. There are treatments and watching your diet very carefully is absolutely critical. Most people get into trouble when the first develop colitis and don't really understand it or know what is going on. While it's not common, it does tend to run in families. Irritable Bowel Syndrome can develop as well and this is usually where the intense weight loss occurs.

During flareups steroids are the most common treatment.

It is dangerous but not a death sentence.

So, we have a new defensive replacement and hes our top prospect. This organization is full of dumbasses.

Wait, really? The team that traded for Jason Kendall and then claimed Scott Podsednik off waivers?

Never would have known.
