What I heard (and let me preface this by saying that I'm not Jayson Stark, phone glued to my ear 24/7, by a long shot) is that Davies could be the PTBNL in the Teixeira deal if Matt Harrison's injury is deemed too serious. Probably wouldn't squash the Dotel deal, would just mean that the Braves would ante up a different, comparable prospect.

No, we have a good GM. His name is Jim Hendry. A bad GM would have traded Marshall or Hill for a relief pitcher with a history of arm injuries.

 

so because hendry didn't make some horrible, made up trade that he was never offered he's a good gm by default?
