that a boy pujols haha im cheering for the cardinals WOW

 

I am so conditioned to root against them that I was actually concerned about them having a runner at 3rd with one out and Pujols at the plate. It took me a minute to realize that I should actually be hoping that they do score the run.

 

Funny I had the same problem :)

What are the cards behind us?

 

i think they're pretty far out of the picture at the moment. They'd have to get as hot as we did in june to start being seriously in contention. If they win tonight, theyll be 5.5 behind us. I wouldn't worry about them until they get back over .500.

Yeah, I doubt that they can get into any seriously hot streaks with their horrible starting pitching.

I wouldn't worry about the cardinals until they get to .500. They're pitching is too sketchy for them to go on a real run.

 

Still, they have the magic pixy dust, so anything is possible.

Yeah but they have an easy schedule coming up.

It's easy to think TLR can spread his pixie dust and turn goat piss into gasoline again. But his rotation still really sucks, and they will not be picking up anyone at the deadline. If anything, they'll be unloading guys.

 

Word on the Cards telecast is that the Red Sox are scouting Eckstein tonight.

I feel so dirty rooting for the Cardinals. I can't wait for this series to be over with for that very reason...

 

I bet you can't wait for the next Cards-Brewers series. :wink: I know I can't.
