If I were a braggart I'd point out that I've already clinched a playoff spot even though Yahoo doesn't show it yet, since the current 8th and 9th place teams still play each other and thus they can't both catch me.

My winning streak is going to be snapped as well. I might have had a chance if I had pulled Gates from my lineup, but I didn't have a chance to check before the games Sunday and hadn't heard anything certain beforehand.

 

5-4 is ok, but I need to get hot again quickly.

I can easily see myself losing again. Next week is a bye week nightmare for me (both of my TEs are out, along with my defense and kicker). Brees is off too, but I have Orton and Vick to choose from. I'd need to start cutting players and picking up free agents to field a full team (especially if Collie misses the game with his concussion). I'm not sure I want to do that for the sake of one week when some of my cuts would likely be picked up by other teams, so I may just go short-handed and concede the week in order to keep my team intact for the playoffs. I can live with 8-2.

I need a little over five points from the Redskins' defense tomorrow night to get back on the winning track. Regardless of the outcome, a much better showing than I expected with my bye week and injury issues.

Back to back wins gets me ever closer to the top of the league. If NC doesn't pull it out this week, I'll be just a game behind him even after all the boasting. :D

Rivers is such a stud this year. I was a little worried that he wouldn't get me enough points to overcome my team's 25 point deficit, but he had done so midway through the third quarter. We will still maintain the #3 seed, with a real chance at being #2 before it is all over.

8-4 and second in the league! Marc Mariani and Stefan Logan have been great boosts to me – my improvement really started when I picked the two of them up.

I just need Brady to not score more than 31 points tonight. Lost last week by less than a point cause Crabtree and Davis could not get ONE reception in the 2nd half on Monday night, its going to suck to lose again tonight.
