Theriot singled to center field

Lee grounded out to second, 4-3 , Theriot to second

Ramirez singled to third base , Theriot holding second

Ward popped out to shortstop (infield fly rule)

DeRosa flied out to deep right center field

It does look like that rest did some Jones good. 3 doubles in the past game and a half, a walk fighting back from an 0-2 count, and he should have had a single on that ball in the 1st. His swing doesn't look nearly as bad as it did a couple of weeks ago either.

I know a lot of people are gonna say "good, bring his value up," but if he's hitting like he was last year, we've got a solid 6th-7th hitter who can drive in some runs for us. It'll help offset the Hill/Bowen-Pitcher bottom of the order

So how do we feel about Jones now? Especially since Pie and Pagan have been black holes over the past week or two save a few exceptions

he's good until he goes 0-4 tomorrow, then he should be released immediately

Ah, that's not Jones's fault, it's Lou's for starting him against the left-hander tomorrow :D (not that I expect him to-it will be about the same lineup tomorrow as it was yesterday).
