Well...we're only one game out of the Wild Card (in the loss column...the only one that counts)!

 

And STL has fallen further back...and we're 2.5 out of actual first place...I'd like to go ahead and take the WC lead so we can then start hearing the "if the season were to end today" stuff....and then worry about overtaking the Brewers....I'd LOVE for the Brewers to win the WC because that means we win the division AND likely have a little cushion...

Not to mention that the winner of the division will have a good shot at HFA throughout the playoffs. The Brewers, Mets, and Dodgers/Padres are all within a half-game of each other for the best record in the league.

Gotta admit I was wrong. 2.5 games back. What a nice small lookin #. I love it! But ofcourse I'm affraid now we'll tank because of my admitting that. Yes I'm being very superstitious today.
