Obviously if Price somehow makes it to 3, I'd take him and be ecstatic. Otherwise, I'd still take Wieters if he's available. I know some have soured but he'll be a great asset if he remains at catcher and now it appears likely he will. I honestly don't like Vitters that much but I guess Wilken does.

 

I'm a big Heyward fan (he's the guy in my avatar), that's the HS position player I'd take.

Unfort. no, I wanted to last weekend as I was in Terre Haute, IN but that's about 100 miles from where Parker is.

 

I've only seen 2 of the top 100 kids (Crosby and Zimmerman).

I will be going to see Crosby again, tomorrow. BA has him listed right around where the Cubs 2nd pick is.

I talked to the Marlins area guy about Parker and he's the best HS pitcher he's ever seen. Granted, this area doesn't ever get anyone like that, but that's impressive.

 

I'd be surprised but not shocked if the Cubs got him. While I doubt they would get him, I think the Cubs will get Crosby at 46.
