Ugh. I am not doing good at all this season. :(
Maybe that's because you're spending too much time posting here and not enough time practicing.

IowaCubs.com"]River Cats Snap Cubs Win Streak at Eight

Iowa's late rally falls short

By Toby Hyde / http://www.iowacubs.com

The Sacramento Rivercats used a pair of two-run home runs and a grandslam, leading to nine unanswered runs, to snap the Iowa Cubs eight game winning streak Saturday night at Principal Park. A late Cubs rally in the bottom of the ninth fell short. However, the Cubs did extend two other personal streaks: Mike Fontentot hit safely in his ninth straight contest and Eric Patterson extended his own hitting streak to six games.

Sean Marshall, Iowa's starter, carried a 3-2 lead into the sixth inning, when he was forced from the game after a one-out single. In came reliever Ben Howard, who gave up a game-turning two-run home run to JD Closser to put Sacramento in front 4-3. River Cats rightfielder Hiram Bocachica launched a two run home run off Howard in the seventh to make the score 6-3. Howard, who pitched two innings took his second loss of the year. The 'Cats blew the game open with a five run eighth keyed by a Bocachica grand slam off Cubs reliever Federico Baez.

Iowa took a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Felix Pie tripled into the rightfield corner to bring home Eric Patterson with the game's first run. Pie scored on Micah Hoffpauir's sacrifice fly to center.

The River Cats tied the score at 2-2 in the top of the fifth when Danny Putnam doubled down the rightfield line bringing in two.

Iowa took a brief 3-2 lead in the bottom of the fifth inning. Eric Patterson led off with an opposite field home run. Later in the frame, Iowa put two runners aboard, but could not bring them home against Jason Windsor.

Iowa rallied in the ninth, but came up just short. The Cubs began the fram with five straight singles to plate three runs and bring the tying run to the plate, but couldn't find a way to get the tying run aboard.

Paul Schappert pitched a solid four innings in relief for the win. Schappet gave up one run on four hits and fanned five.

He came in after Justin Berg struggled in the start going only two innings. Berg walked five, hit a batter and uncorked a wild pitch in yielding two runs.

Knoxville News-Sentinel"]In Berg's defense, he wasn't 100 percent.

"He had a little tightness in his biceps, so we got him out of there," Listach said. "We'll see how he is. If he can't go in five days, Schappert will."
