Sounds good but I'd bat barrett 5 against rhp and have floyd at 6. against lhp i'd even consider possibly switching derosa and murton if derosa keeps playing well and murton struggles.

Jacque Jones is hitting to the tune of .188/.350/.188 with runners in scoring position, with a torrid .176/.176/.176 when the team needed him the most (5th slot, sample size be damned).

 

In addition, he's dead last amongst starting NL right fielders in RBIs, total bases and extra base hits, and next-to-last in RBI chances and OPS (zero HRs) - all this to a player that shouldn't be a starter in this league, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Randy Winn.

 

If it wasn't for that hit with the bases loaded against the Cards, he'd have been hands down the worst hitting outfielder in the majors with more than 80 plate appearances.

And as for Jones yea hes not the greatest but how can you say that he is last in RBI's for right fielders and the go on to say he is next to last in RBI chances? And as for Jones yea hes not the greatest but how can you say that he is last in RBI's for right fielders and the go on to say he is next to last in RBI chances? Wouldnt it be pretty hard to be high up on the list of RBI's for a right fielder, if you dont ever get any RBI chances?
