Ok on one of my teams I was hoping that the youth movement would take off so at SS I picked up Stephen Drew and Tulowitski, neither of which are producing. Some of the FA SS's in my league are Maicer Izturis, Wilson Valdez, Jack Wilson, Greene, and J.J. Hardy. Would I be better off picking one of them up or sticking with what I've got?

In another league I've got Conor Jackson and Gary Sheffield at 1B and both have been struggling pretty badly too. In FA there are players like Shawn Green, Dmitri Young, Xavier Nady, and Mike Jacobs.

I'm thinking about dropping Tulowitski and picking up Izturis in the first league, and dropping Jackson for Nady in the 2nd league. Does anyone have any input on this?

well, you know izturis is going to be terrible. tulowitzski has a good chance to turn it around and plays half his games at Coors Field. I think that would be a bad bad move.

Sheffield is going to hit. I think you need to be more patient as he will likely be hotter than heck pretty soon.

JJ Hardy and Mike Jacobs.

JJ Hardy is a stud. .288 Average, 5HR, 13RBI, .350 OBP, 7 K's. 7 Walks. So much for being a "black hole" in the lineup.

Off topic, but I remember cbssportsline.com running a story last season about Hardy batting in the 2nd spot in the lineup and put enough thought into the title. The headline read: "Hardy Likes It in the Two-Hole"
