Didn't the Cubs draft Micah Owings in a later round a couple of years ago? Just checked out his line, looks like he was pretty impressive today.

 

Yeah, the Cubs took him as a 19th rounder in 2004 (as a sophomore - he slipped because of his bonus demands) and he returned to college.

 

Wasn't he at GT when we drafted him, but then he transferred to Tulane?

Yup. That year, the Cubs drafted EPatt and Owings. Eric signed with the Cubs and Micah decided to transfer to Tulane.
