Road Trip.

Time a trip where you can see AAA in Nashville and then drive to Sevierville to see teh Smokies.

Road trips with a 2 1/2 year old are getting less frequent. I have to utilize most of the trips to see major league games.

I can understand that.

Greer is in Nashville. When I went to cover the Iowa/Nashville series last year I was surprised at several things. Aardsma had just been sent to AAA and I met him getting out of a cab at the front gate. I literally helped him carry his bags to the clubhouse. The only catch was that to get to the clubhouse you had to walk in the front gate, walk down the concourse, go down the aisle to the field and then enter the dugout.

There were autograph seekers all over the place after the game and the Sounds didn't seem to mind. A person could get a lot of signatures from Iowa players after teh game. I was able to get Felix to sign my Jaxx team jersey. :D

Man! I wish I lived closer to Nashville. I'd love getting sigs in that kind of set-up.

the only autograph i got last year was tony gwynn jr....he's a cool guy, made himself really accessible to everyone....even had several somewhat lengthy convos with him throughout the season.

i might have to work out an agreement with you; you get me autographs and I send you money to buy weed.

but i don't smoke weed?!? we could probably work something out, hah.

That place was crazy when Kerry Wood had a rehab game with Iowa in Nashville.

no doubt about that, i've never seen greer that full...only sold out game i've ever seen there...but there are more butts in the seats when the cubs are in town.

I'm pretty sure the game I attended last year had only Cub fans and autograph seekers in attendance.

I have a friend that is all about Jay Cutler and also likes to poke fun at the Cubs. He's going to be destroyed to hear that later.

You could have found that out on the front page a while ago. :D
