Hampton Injured Again

I just saw on ESPN that Mike Hampton has either a broken rib or a torn muscle as the result of a BP session recently, and will miss approximately 6-8 weeks.[sarcasm] I think he'd be a perfect fit if Atlanta would be willing to pick up a considerable portion of his salary. [/sarcasm]

I think your post is missing a word...such as who "he" is...but we are already talking about possible trade implications in the Miller thread.

 

Also, I thought much earlier in the day the x-rays came back negative...its a strained oblique (which is probably worse than a bone break).

The "he" is Hampton. Texas was jokingly saying that Hampton would fit in with the Cubs.
