Just did a live draft, standard Yahoo public league, had the #1 pick and I'm pretty happy with what I got. Please feel free to give me some suggestions.

C: Brian McCann

1B: Albert Pujols

2B: Brandon Phillips

3B: Garrett Atkins

SS: Miguel Tejada

OF: Matt Holliday

OF: Jeff Francoeur

OF: Josh Willingham

Util: Carlos Guillen

Bench: Edwin Encarnacion

Bench: Adam LaRoche

SP: Aaron Harang

SP: Justin Verlander

RP: JJ Putz

RP: Joel Piniero (I guess he's Boston's closer? I took him with my last pick because I'm weak at saves, not that it really matters)

SP: Erik Bedard

SP: Mike Mussina

SP: Ervin Santana

Bench: Tom Glavine

Bench: Ted Lilly

Bench: Ian Snell

Putz will do you good things.

I really like McCann, and I think that picking up Lilly in later rounds might be productive, what with the switch from the AL East to the NL Central.

Yeah, McCann was my number 2 choice for a catcher behind Mauer. I like my pitching staff, there isn't anyone who is really a bonafide ace, but I think all of them will get around 15 wins and post a respectable ERA.

I think you're setting some awfully lofty goals for that pitching staff. Harang, Snell and Bedard all pitch for teams that will be bottom feeder teams, so the wins won't be there. I'm not so sure the ERA will be there for them either, but that's just my opinion. Glavine isn't getting any younger. Mussina, Verlander and Santana are good picks, but I have some reservations about Lilly's fly ball tendencies as well.

Offensively, you're strong everywhere except in the outfield.

Pretty solid team. Lineup is good. You should trade some of your gitting for a closer. You will need more saves and more wins from your pitching staff.
