Rockies agreed to terms with LHP Jeff Francis on a four-year, $13.25 million contract with a club option for 2011.

 

Francis gets a $500,000 signing bonus, $500,000 in 2007, $2.75 million in 2008, $3.75 million in 2009 and $5.75 million in 2010. The Rockies have a $7 million option for 2011, the first year he's eligible for free agency.
