This is would I think would be the best:

Manager: Girardi

Pitching Coach: Rick Kranitz

Hitting Coach: Mark Grace

Bench Coach: Rick Sutcliffe

1st Base: Shawon Dunston

3rd Base: Chris Speier

Unrealistic but that would be a very fun staff to watch and see work together.

Holy crap! That would be horrible!

i dunno, he might be right, it would be very fun to watch that staff lose 100 games

If you look around the league at most of the 1st and 3rd base coaches, many are former middle infielders. While I believe most continue to land jobs because MLB does not like to farm outside of MLB for replacements, it's not really their coaching skills at 1b and 3b that keep them coming back. It's the knowledge they can share with the players about where to play certain players defensively. It's teaching them how to be better defenders, etc... that determine their length of stay in the coaching ranks of MLB.

With that said, I'd like:

Manager: Wally Bachman

Hitting coach: Mario Mendoza

Pitching coach: Jeff Fassero

Bench coach: Albert Belle

1b coach: Lloyd McClendon

3b coach: Don Zimmer

Bullpen coach: Todd Hundley

Wouldn't that be fun?

 Heck yeah! That's a world championship winning coaching staff. My only recommendation would be to possibly have Belle or Hundley be the hitting coach, given they know to hit (women and the bottle respectively).

Bench Coach/Color Commentator: Steve Stone (live miced on the bench during the game)
