WR Help/Opinions

[Too Tall]

Ok, I need some help, my WR's have been killing me so far in the first 2 weeks, also, my second RB has been hurting me too and was hoping for some opinions/advise about any free agent pick ups or who to start. My team currently is

 

QB: T. Brady

Back up: Drew Brees (should I start him since NE seems to be running a lot more this year?)

 

WR: Rod Smith, Den

WR: Eric Moulds, Hou

back ups: Deon Branch,

Possible FA: There is Jerricho Cotchery NYJ, Troy Williamson MIN and Terry Glenn that I'm thinking about picking up but I don't konw which one and who to drop.

 

RB: Rudy Johnson, Cin

RB: Fred Taylor, Jac

Back Ups: Kevin Barlow, Kevin Jones and Samkon Gado. Should I start any of these?

 

TE: Alge Crumpler, Atl

Back Up: Vernon Davis, SF

 

K: Nate Kaeding

 

Def: Chicago

 

my other back up Defense sucks, I just have them to drop when I'm in need to pick up a kicker for week 3..

 

Any help would be appreciated. I should have won this week but my WR scored a total of 6 points.

 

Our scoring is a point every 10 yards, 6 points a td and return yards do not count..

I'd pick up Glen. Even when TO returns, Glen will be the deep threat. I'd drop Gado. I don't think he helps you much.

 

I'd keep starting Brady unless New Orleans has a favorable match-up like they did this past week.

I was going to pick him up this morning but someone beat me to the gun ](*,)

 

I followed Vances' advise, well sort of, I picked up Glenn with TO being out a month, but I dropped Rod Smith only because I don't trust Plummer to do much in the passing department. I should drop one of my RB to pick up another WR, but haven't decided which one, if Gado gets the starting job then he could be valuable, but who knows. Jones started to show some flashes against the Bears and Barlow got a majority of the carriers on sunday but had no where to run..

well your team is pretty brutal....The only threat on your team is Rudi Johnson... How could you have not landed a decent WR or second RB? I play in a 3 WR set in my league and both of your WR's would be Number 3's...Not to mention both guys are like almost 40 years old...Brady is scary with no WR's now...pick up Glenn if you can...Gado is not worth it and Barlow just sucks...Fred Taylor is a very low end number two starter and a good number 3 whih means hes more of a bye-week replacement guy...Also go after that Justin guy on the Jets...Hes the real deal

Not sure what happen.. It was a pre-rank auto draft. My team is pretty brutal. Pre-ranking auto drafts suck.

I'd go with picking up Williamson. That might just me being biased towards the Vikings ( :P ), but he has a chance to have a good season. He's fast and is a great deep threat, and with our weak wreceiving corps, Williamson is the #1 WR in Minny. Being in the NY area, I've also heard good things about Cotchery. Deion Branch should be solid too once he becomes active next week.

 

Also, I'm not completely sold on Fred Taylor and I feel he's gonna show his age this year. Look into getting a better backup at RB.
