Boise takes a 1-0 lead on a delayed double steal attempt - Tyler Colvin caught stealing at second base but Matt Matulia steals home.

After 1 in a very windy Boise, the Hawks lead it 1-0.

------

In Peoria, Beloit doesn't score and leaves a Snapper stranded on base in the top of the 7th. At the 7th inning stretch, Peoria leads it 4-1.

It's extremely windy in Boise and alternating between heavy rain drops and light sprinkles.

Boise leads it 1-0 in the middle of the 2nd. Salem-Keizer strands a man at second in the top of the 2nd.

Pawelek: 4 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 2 BB, 2 K, WP.

Pawelek works around a leadoff walk and a none-out wild pitch, thanks in part to a diving stop by 3B Steve Clevenger on a groundout.

Boise leads it 1-0 in the middle of the 4th.

Matt Avery is in to pitch the top of the 9th for Peoria as the Chiefs lead it 6-1.

Gah, leadoff bloop double.

K swinging! One out.

K swinging! Two outs.

K swinging! Peoria wins!

Peoria wins 6-1 to force game 3!

Boise scores 2 runs in the fourth inning. I didn't catch how the first run scored, but the second run scored on a Steve Clevenger RBI single (following a Josh Lansford double).

Boise leads it 3-0 after 4 innings.

Pawelek hits a batter with 2 outs, then gives up a little nubber over the pitchers mound for an IF single, but the guy who was HBP tried to go third and Canzler threw him out there. Lame way for Mark to lose his no-no.

Mark Pawelek: 5 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 1 HBP, 2 BB, 3 K

Boise leads it 3-0 in the middle of the 5th inning.

Mark Pawelek gives up a 2-out single in the top of the 6th and then - without even throwing another pitch - picks that guy off.

Mark: 6 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 1 HBP, 2 BB, 3 K.

Boise leads it 3-0 in the middle of the 6th.

any indication if Pawelek is going to go for the 7th or does it appear he is done?

He is. Someone was up in the pen (Papelbon?), but they sat down.

Canzler at third, Clevenger at first...DJ Lewis up with 2 outs in the bottom of the 6th. But Hollywood grounds out, 5-4.

After 6, Boise leads it 4-0.

Are you watching the game or hearing it on radio? If you are watching it how has Pawelek looked?

I'm listening now, will watch later on.

EDIT: The reason I didn't watch was because my computer was acting up.

Pawelek's night is over. He gives up a 2-out single (first hit out of the infield) and then a BB. He gets a standing ovation as he walks off the field.

Jeremy Papelbon coming in.

Jeremy Papelbon vs. Michael McBride:

Strike 1.

Ball 1 high.

Ball 2.

Strike 2 swinging.

Fouled back.

Little flare/bloop that was caught by the second baseman for the third out.

Pawelek's final line: 6.2 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 1 HBP, 3 BB, 3 K.

The 6.2 IP marks the longest outing of his career.

Boise leads it 4-0 after 7 innings.
