Keeper Declaration?

THis is my league's first year as keepers. We were wondering when is the normal time to declare your keepers for the next year. A couple weeks before the draft?

My league is anything but normal, we're just kind of making it up as we go along, but what we did as our trade deadline approached was put up our tentative list of keepers, mostly to help facilitate trades. We're not finalizing ours until a week before next year's draft.

I'm in my second year in a keeper league. I believe last year the deadline was around Halloween. I haven't seen a deadline announced for this year yet.
