Yankees 13th round draft pick from this year's draft, Daniel McCutchen a P from Oklahoma, has tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs and has been suspended for 50 games. With all of the minor leaguers being caught, I'm not sure if I should be encouraged that the system is working or discouraged because of all the ones most likely getting away with it.

McCutchen used to get it up in the mid 90s his junior year. He stayed for his senior year at Oklahoma. I got to check him out in the Super Regionals against Rice and thought he was pretty impressive. He's a guy who loves to compete, dunno about the roids.

The thing I don't like about the new program is that they don't say exactly what you tested positive for (atleast not that I've found). It could be steroids, andro. amphetamines...a large number of things. While cheating is cheating, I wish they'd atleast release what these players are testing positive for exactly.

Do they still keep it secret from the players?
