Why doesn't Murton bat second? I mean every day...

 

wasnt he there at one point? then he started slumping or something- i could quite possibly be wrong though.

 

I don't think his bat fits there IMO. He is patient at the plate, but I think his productive potential would be better utilized lower in the order. If he learns how to pick his pitch instead of going after pitcher's pitches, he could be dangerous. The power will come but for now he's still a good line-drive hitter.

And to answer my own question..... Yes -- it does tie a major league record for doubles in a game! Way to go Murton! :D
