FYI - Lidge will be on the The Dan Patrick Show soon. I'll try to post a recap if I can.

EDIT: He'll apparently be on after the 1:40 (central time) update. I may not be around my radio then, so if someone else listens, please post here.

How about the Cubs trade Aramis and Aardsma for Lidge and Ensberg. Turn around and trade Ensberg to San Diego for Kottaras and then trade Dempster to the Rangers for one of the DVD boys.

Who's on 3rd?

Richard Justice, the Houston reporter who broke the "Trade Lidge" story, is on the DPS and reporting that Clemens went to McClane and demanded that he do something to turn the team around.

McClane replied, "I did, I re-signed you."

More like, "I gave you a crapload of money and let you stay at home during road trips. Shut your mouth."

How about this complicated deal....

Ramirez and Aardsma to the Astros for Ensberg and Lidge.

The Cubs could then trade Dempster elsewhere.

how about Ramirez and Navoa for Lidge and Ensberg

McClain likes local boys. (see Berkman, Pettitte, and Clemens.) Aardsma played at Rice and lives in the Woodlands. I think he'd have more value to the guy that seems to be ultimately calling the shots here.

JUST SAY NO TO LIDGE!!! I can't handle signing another "choke" artist to close out our games.... see: Alfonseca, Hawkins, etc....
