The I-Cubs have scored one in the top of the 9th on a Felix Pie RBI single. They're still down 6-4, with runners at the corners at 2 outs.

 

Fontenot grounds out to end the game, Iowa loses. :(

Iowa loses 6-4 as Fontenot grounds out to end it. Nashville lost again, so the I-Cubs are still 3.5 out of 1st. They have had their opportunities to get 2.5 or even 1.5 back of them though.

Pie made an awkward looking diving catch. It was a nice catch but he was only in that position because he broke back on the ball. He made a nice running catch on the track in dead center.

 

Also, on the 8-5 DP, he botched the play. He thought the inning was over but recovered in time to throw a dart to third base that was probably a missed call. The throw beat him but it looked like the tag was late.

 

Restovich looked good.
