I think the Devil Rays seriously want to keep Lugo. I actually think they will. Upton will come up and play 3B. They have the makings of a great lineup.

 

What they do for pitching now is beyond me. Unless they trade one of their OFs or Cantu.

It would be a smart move for the Rays to Keep Lugo he seems to be entering his prime in his carrer and if the Rays ever want to make a move, SS is one of the hardest positions to fill, as the Cubs have found out.

The BBTN guys just reported that Lugo and the D Rays are far apart from an offer, and they think he will also be traded this weekend. They also said Toronto looks like they would be the front runner if Lugo becomes available.
