I agree with the idea that the Stones may have lessened their legacy a bit by continuing onward for the past forty (40!) years. But you can't blame them for still wanting to rock out. I pretty much think that it boils down to the fact that they just really like it, so they keep doing it.

 

Besides, most people don't really consider the Stones of the 60's and early 70's to be the same band as the Stones of today, and I'm okay with that. I voted Stones, and it's entirely because of their body of work during the 60's and early 70's. I consider the rest of it irrelevant.
