Will someone please post what happened to Marshall? I'm unable to watch the game.

 

He threw a pitch and motioned for the trainer to come out. The trainer was looking at his left side/left arm and the announcers thought it might have been an oblique pull, but no one was sure.

 

oblique pull it is

Is that from the horses mouth? If so, phew.

 

Announcers confirmed it.

 

Also, apparently there is no difference between the oblique muscles and the ribcage.

Cedeno popped out to shortstop

Blanco struck out swinging , 2-3

Ohman in (8th) to pitch, Barrett in (9th) ar c for the CUBS

Anderson struck out swinging

Fick grounded out to short, 6-3 , Matos holding second

Matos took third base on a wild pitch

Escobar, pinch hitting for Hernandez, homered to left field , Matos scored

Soriano struck out swinging
