The guy offered E Santana (whom I've been after) for Dye. It's a keeper league. He also wants Linebrink, and said he would throw in Hamels, though I'm thinking of asking for Chuck James or Joe Blanton instead. We are going to have 5-7 keepers, it hasn't been decided yet. He wouldn't accept Linebrink for S Olsen.

I would do either Santana and Hamels or Santana and Blanton.

 

Chuck James scares me since he can't throw anything over 85 MPH.

 

Heck, it's probably worth it for Santana alone. But, whatever you can get extra makes it even better.

So you would trade Linebrink straight up for Hamels or Blanton with Santana for Dye (and keep in mind it's Ervin, not Johan) Who would you prefer between Hamels and Blanton? I haven't seen Hamels much.

That's a style choice, really.

 

Hamels has the potential to be much better than Blanton... but he'll spend a lot more time on the DL than Blanton, most likely. Though it's not as if Blanton wont be at least league average or so.

 

I dunno. If you feel comfortable with your team's health, grab Hamels. If you don't, grab Blanton.
