It appears as though Cuban is interested in a Pittsburgh team but, but it's the Penguins instead of the Pirates. According to Yahoo, he's joining up with Marino to try and buy them. There is a blurb at the very end about both parties also being interested in the Pirates but the owners don't want to sell.

That thread title is incredibly misleading. There's not a single mention of baseball in that article.

Why would someone as involved as Cuban own two teams whose seasons are during the exact same timeframe? Either way though, the article never comes close to implying what the title says.

Did Jerry Colangelo own three? I know the Suns and the DBacks. But, did he also own the Phoenix Coyotes?
