CUBS are 0-3 when they allow 6 or more home runs in a game.

Go CUBS !!

So it's not looking good huh?

Our chances are slim and none.

... and Slim just left town

The most disturbing fact that this is already the 4th game where we gave up more than six homers. That is pathetic.

Honestly.....this is just surreal. Jones and Pierre hitting weak grounders to 2nd and Murton grounding in DP's. Maybe Hendry went to some all you can eat place with Rusch and won't come back? Edited by CuseCubFan69

Only 1 game where we gave up more than six (8 ), two 6's and today. Any way you slice it.... it's still pathetic.

The Pirates are losing 5-1 in the 9th. They keeping hogging last place. I really think the Cubs have earned that spot or atleast some of it.

YEAH! Have they given up six homeruns?

That inning ended just in time - I think Santo is on the verge of some type of breakdown.

Poor guy. He can't use cynicism as an emotional defense like we can....he just doesn't have it in him.

Pierre lined out to right field

Jaun put a nice charge into that one. Let's hope he continues to do that.

+5 to trade value

I enjoy the mentality of this bullpen. It's like they see a fire, and then out of instinct grab and throw a bucket of something onto it without checking to see what actually was in the bucket.

Sometimes it's water...other times, it's gasoline.

Fred, what is the Cubs record this year when you do play-by-play?

CUBS are 23-30 when Hornkohl provides half inning recaps on NSBB.... 3-11 when he doesn't
