Maybe Cub mismanagement is hoping Rusch can string together a few decent outings in row, so come July he will be attractive enough for some team to pick up and relieve us of his contract.

It is the Cubs though. The worst thing for this team would be Glendon to have a stellar performance. And I could see the Cubs being shutout in those conditions too.

 

In reality though I'll be very surprised to see Glendon get out of the 3rd inning and wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make it out of the first inning.

I went to a game last month against Milwaukee where Rusch pitched. The first batter of the game hit a home run, and he allowed 4 other dingers before getting pulled. They lost 17-2. :roll:

 

The last 2 games I have been to at Wrigley:

 

1) Rusch pitches like his usual self and they get handed worse defeat of year.

2) D. Kile found dead in hotel morning of game...game cancelled.

 

 

Maybe I am not meant to go to Wrigley Field. :cry:
