CUBS are 18-15 when they get at least 8 hits..... 5-21 when they don't

dude these stats are sickening me!

 

1.) I am NOT a dude.

 

2.) You may find the message boards at CUBS.com more to your liking, as you won't find these sorts of stats over there.

Maybe it wasn't such a great idea for Baker to bring in Eyre for another inning.

BOTTOM OF THE SEVENTH INNING

 

Hatteberg flied out to left field

Dunn walked

Kearns singled to right field, Dunn to second

Milton in to pinch run for Kearns at first

Valentin singled down the right field line, Dunn scored, Milton to third

Howry in to pitch for the CUBS

Freel, pinch hitting for Hammond, struck out swinging

Lopez singled to center field, Milton scored, Valentin to third

Phillips popped out (foul) to first base

 

2 runs, 3 hits, 0 errors, 2 men left on base
