Rosa hit .365 this year, but walked just 13 times 200 at-bats. Previously drafted by the White Sox.

Yes, Jeremy is the hard-throwing, left-handed brother of Jon. In just a second I'll get all of the links posted.

Stats

From what I can tell he's a hard-thrower with pretty good control. He's a bit on the small side for a power pitcher though which is odd for the Cubs. I've got no clue what he throws though.

According to BA, his fastball sat at around mid-80's this year and he depends primarily on command and deception--his BB numbers are outstanding.

here is a little blerb about him from the UNF website it also looks like he has a twin brother "josh"

"Three-time Atlantic Sun Pitcher of the Week winner Jeremy Papelbon is another potential prospect who may be chosen on either Tuesday or Wednesday. The hard-throwing left-hander led the Ospreys' starting staff with 89 innings, 88 strikeouts and an opponent batting average of .227. The second-team All-Atlantic Sun Conference selection also allowed the fewest earned runs (24) and walks (14) among all starters. The former Bishop Kenny standout is hoping to someday join his older brother, Jonathan, in the majors.

"Jeremy was huge for our club this season," Rhodes said. "I think he proved that he has the tools and the skill to take his game to the next level. If he continues to work hard and get better each day, he could be something special."

T2E, do you have any insight into why Jason Jarvis is still out there? Is it signability at this point?

Both signability and makeup concerns.

719 Matt Matulia SS The Citadel...stat monster.

Looks like he has good power, weak BB/K ratios, and possible questions about defense (19 errors).

Matulia isn't who I thought he was..confused him with Swauger. He looks like a light-hitting middle IF with a weak glove.

I think you might be looking at last year's stats. Here are this year's stats. Only 3HRs and also 23 errors. BB/K improved though to 33/44.

Whoops. Well the new stat line doesn't help things.
