I find it funny no one is talking about Kerry (well honestly I don't considering how the Cubs are doing). But as he makes a few starts he has slowly been improving his IP, ERA, and pitch selection.

 

Reds are obviously a better team then Florida so it's good to see he actually pitched better against the better team. I look foward to his next start.

85 pitches in 6 innings, 4 Ks, ahead of counts, not throwing across his body. Heck, the game I went to in 2003, he had 141 pitches in 6 innings.

 

I knew if he was careful, he'd be fine. Ks will come to a guy like him. Just has to stop trying to strike everyone out.

 

 

You're probably right. Just watch the Cubs go on a little run.. Get fans hopes up a little and then Wood gets hurt.. again.

I'd be surprised if Wood were back, unlss he pulls a Red Baron and goes 16-1 the rest of the way to lead the Cubs to a historical comeback and playoff berth

I could see Wood coming back on a 1 year contract like the one Hendry gave to Nomar in 2005. But I don't see Hendry signing him to a long term deal.
