anyone else listen to that ridiculous conversation on the radio earlier tonight(around 6:30 or so)?

wow.

does anyone else think that there is are major flaws in the organization as a whole, something bigger than dusty baker alone?

you know, like the players they draft, the things they get taught in the minors, the injuries, the consistant failure of top picks, the constant failure of position players(though that may be getting better), the COMPLETE ignorance of OBP, overestimating the value fiscally of role players, underestimating the value fiscally of young guys, the free agents they try to/sign, the way the pitching staff is handled, etc etc etc.

i thought the cubs brass wanted to make money. the way things are going in chicago, they won't be making the kind of profit they've seen since 03 much longer.

Chicago sports radio is going downhill in general...

Mike North Sucks. Mike Murphy sucks. Mulligan & Hanley suck. Rosenbloom & Salisbury suck. Carmen & Silvey are good but got moved to evenings when most people are home from work and not listening. Boers & Bernstein are the only show even worth listening to during my work day!
