The Milwaukee Brewers will place starting pitcher Ben Sheets on the 15-day disabled on Wednesday. The move will be retroactive to May 3.

Sheets is suffering from tendinitis in his right shoulder. The ace right- hander, who began this season on the DL due to a right posterior shoulder strain.

The loss of Sheets and Ohka is not helping The Crew out right now!

This guy seems to have caught Cub starting pitcheritis.

He's got some Kerry Wood in him (nagging injuries popping up at really bad times) and some Mark Prior in him (random injuries caused by things such as ear infections).

had to dig into the archives for this thread. didn't want to start a new one to ask...

what the hell are the Brewers thinking? did Sheets have enough rehab starts to allow him to work into the ninth and throw over 100 pitches in his first start back?

It had me scratching my head too. Not a smart move.
