Watching baseball tonight and they brought up the Rockies. I am wondering:

1. Can they win the west?

Easily, the west is one of the weakest divisions in baseball. I wish the Cubs played in the west.

2. Is having the humidor cheating?

For those of you that don't know, the Rockies are now putting the game balls in a humidor before each game, allowing for them to be heavier, making the offensive numbers come down. Now, while this does hurt their offense, it also helps their pitchers, and their O on the road, because they are more used to less O. Is this doctoring of the balls cheating?

1. Yes they will win the West this year. They have been winning even though their best player and 1b has been hurt for half of the season with intestinal swelling brought on by a virus/bacterium. Their pitching staff has really come around, and they have an amazing road record...so its more than Coors.

2. No, it is the equalizer.

the whole point is they are making the ball the same as everywhere else. I don't think you comprehend what dry means. the balls are different before the humidor, not after.
