Marmol threw 22 pitches in the 1st inning

Give up any runs?

No. And he had a much quicker 2nd inning: 2 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 2/1

Scott Moore *just* missed a HR to leadoff the bottom of the second. He settles for a leadoff double to RCF.

Jose Reyes singles, Moore advances to third and Reyes advances to third on the throw home. Runners at second and third, none out.

Jon-Mark Sprowl singles under the first baseman's glove, Moore scores, Reyes to third. 1-0 DJaxx.

Gary Cates walks to load the bases.

Carlos Marmol GIDP, Reyes scores. 2-0 DJaxx. Sprowl at third with 2 outs.

Chris Walker singles up the middle, Sprowl scores. 3-0 DJaxx.

Eric Patterson singles to RF, Walker to third.

Eric Patterson steals second with Nic Jackson batting. Nic Jackson strikes out swinging to end the inning.

The Jaxx lead it 3-0 after 2.

Jaxx up 2-0. The new guy in the booth with Ron is helping this team.

You're slow!

I like how Ron thought Chris Walker stole home last night until earlier today when he found out it was a balk and the ump never gave the signal.

I never let that get in my way!

Tim will be thrilled, especially after buying his jersey last week!

Meh. Runners at the corners against Marmol after a leadoff double and an error on a sac bunt attempt (1B Sprowl dropped Marmol's throw).

Now Marmol walks a man to load the bases with none out.

Now a single allows a run to score. 3-1 Jaxx lead it, bases still loaded with none out.

6-4-3 GIDP! But a run scores, 3-2 Jaxx.

Line single to LF ties the game at 3.

And another walk. Runners at first and second. Activity in the Jaxx pen.

Finally, a K swinging.

3-3 in the middle of the third.

Correction, only 1 of those runs were earned.

Nic Jackson lines a single to leadoff the bottom of the 4th. He's on fire right now.

Jackson steals 2nd now.

Montanez hits a check swing comebacker to Pratt. Pratt tried to get Nic Jackson advancing to third and threw wildly. Nic is safe at third, Montanez at first. The scorekeeper rules than an E-1.

Scott Moore hits a sac fly, Jackson scores to make it 6-3 DJaxx.

Luis Montanez steals second.

Jose Reyes with a bloop single, runners at the corners with one out.

A passed ball allows Montanez to score, Reyes to second, 7-3 DJaxx.

Sprowl hits a double, Reyes scores. 8-3 Diamond Jaxx.

Cates grounds out, 6-3. Sprowl advances to third. Two outs.

Carlos Marmol pops out to end the inning (apparently his night isn't done).

Andy Pratt watch: 37 pitches, 16 balls, 21 strikes, 2 BB, 1 K, 1 E (throwing).
