I have too many guys that just don't play. Jose Cruz Jr. has been relegated to 6th outfielder. Brady Clark gets about as much playing time as a Dusty Baker managed rookie. Ken Griffey hasn't played in weeks. Dmitri Young hasn't played in weeks, and Rocco Baldelli hasn't played in years.

If Neifi Perez was eligible in the outfield, I'd really be eyeballing him right now. Yeesh!

i'll probably regret this since i play you soon, but why the hell do you still have griffey in your lineup?

at least drew got one in on valverde to keep him from getting too easy of a save. :D

someone needs to get on base in front of jd!

tying run at the plate w/ two outs in the 9th and you pinch hit sandy alomar? with cruz and repko on the bench? you gotta be kidding me...

Because I don't have anyone to replace him with.

I have a real conflict of interest here guys. Every time Duke faces the Cubs I feel a smile about to break out on my face. I wouldn't suppose that one of you would want to trade for him so that I can be relieved of my guilt :smokin:

On the other hand, so much for my vaunted pen. Krod has been OK, but I had to get rid of Hoffman in order to adjust my line-up for a gimpy Beltran, Cordero has lost his closer's role, McCarthy has been Jeckel and Hyde, and I pick up Saito over the weekend and he proceeds to have his worst performance of the season last night in celebration of that fact. Right now all I want is positive points from my pen.

put him on the DL and pick someone up off waivers.

My DL is full. And I've combed the waiver wire for outfielders. Griffey getting no points is probably better than what I could get from any of the players left on waivers.

Griffey will probably be back this coming Monday. I can wait. I'm not complaining about Griffey. I'm complaining that Brady Clark and Jose Cruz aren't getting much PT. And if Griffey isn't back by Monday, then Dmitri Young probably will be.

Wow...an 8-56 start to the matchup from my offense, Bonds is doubtful for today and Pujols is day to day.

sheesh. I need a perfect game from one of my pitchers this week to win.

i don't know about that. though with sheff, pujols, and bonds all missing games b/c of minor injuries, i should really win.

glad to see beckett throwing strikes tonight.

Myers is making up for it, though.

yeah, he's dealing. he throws too many pitches though. i can completely see halladay getting a five inning, rain shortened no hitter tonight.

and beckett's walked the bases loaded before giving up a double. nice.

Cat needs to get that last run home so there's no chance of a QS.

Glad I traded him. :D

Yeah, I think I overpaid on that deal. Oh well, happens to everyone once in a while.

A rainout screws me out of a start this week w/ Chacon. And VMart gets a day off today.

The Flyers and HBC will be tight on points after tonight. Lets hope my hitting wakes up a bit.
