Bellhorn popped an IF single to third, Gonzalez scored

Ramirez may have fielded it, but it landed three feet from home plate. ;)

Does it really make a difference to you ?

I don't think anyone on the field saw that ball. AR didn't and Howry looked like he was unsure as well.

BTW, why noe visit yet by Larry?

I would think one of the IFs or Howry would have seen it - the fans around home plate apparently did.

That would depend on the location of the sun.

Barrett seemed to have totally lost it in the sun.

Now that was bad baserunning.

I'm not so sure about that. Hairston almost caught that ball on the fly.

If it's caught, he still would have had plenty of time to get back. It would have taken a little bit of time to get a throw off on a full extension dive like that. He didn't really need to start retreating.

And he wasn't even watching.

maybe the Marlins will move to Las Vegas. that would be a sweet team with their farm and good attendance figures.

They should go to Las Vegas and be called "The Las Vegas Gamblers" with Pete Rose as manager.
