These are not final, but this is what I found on the minor league web site. It seems updated because the guys we got from the Welly trade are on teams. Does this look right? Who else will fill out roster spots in AAA? Calvin Murray listed on the I-Cubs roster. Thought he was done playing.

If these are incorrect, mods feel free to delete or whatever.

This could just be MiLB.com taking a stab at the rosters. I find some of these hard to believe. For example, Brandon Sing at AA and Ryan Harvey returning to low-A?

Maybe all the players with numbers are just the players who were on that team's roster last season. A lot of the ones without numbers look right and are in line with recent demotions to the minors (obviously some of the players with numbers are right, like Brownlie at AAA and Marmol at AA).

I wasn't sure on some of them as well. They have Sing and Dope at West Tenn. I was thinking Sing would be at Iowa.

When I player was reassigned to minor league camp, they are assigned to a specific team correct?

The rosters on MLB are really outdated. I have been watching them closely. They have added a few new additions but the returning players are basically the same as last fall.

that is our roster for the last day of the season. There are quite a few guys on that list who have been released. Minor league baseball.com takes the rosters right off our websites and that wont be updated until we update ours which should be MOnday...I'll post ours here as soon as i get the release finalized...

Thanks Chief and Jaxx!

Like I said, I thought they didn't look right, but there were the names of guys we got from the Welly trade, so I thought I would post it.

Hope Sing and Pie are in AAA (they should be, but I want to see them play in person) and the pitching staff looks good. Beats watching Jimmy Anderson and other veterans.

Chiefs Voice- Do you know if the schedule is updated? When is Peoria playing in Cedar Rapids? Might make a trip over there to watch.

I can say this.. Russ Rohlicek has been released.

Monday morning, I will get you folks the 2006 West Tenn Diamond Jaxx roster.

Was Russ Rohlicek the pitcher that was protected on the 40 man last year, leaving Sisco open to be selected in the rule 5?

He was one of the guys on the forty man roster. As for Sisco getting picked up, I am going to side with the Cubs on this one. He was not the greatest teammate in the clubhouse, which was one of the big reasons why he was left unprotected.

Welcome to the board cubs 1206. As for Hoffpauir being on the Double-A roster, we shall see if he remains there come Monday April 3rd.

I wish they worried more about on field production than clubhouse chemisty. All the chemically inspired moves they've made haven't done a thing to help the team win more.

Cubs 1206, I mean that the roster isn't set in stone and alot could happen between now and when the final roster is made. Keep in mind that the big club still has some moves to be made and those moves have a trickle down effect.

Goony, I feel your pain about the moves the club has made but in this case, I will go with the Cubs. One successful year doesn't make a career. I don't think that Sisco is going to be anything special compared to the pitchers the Cubs have in their system.
