Here's a blurb on Ramirez's injury.

Aramis Ramirez left Monday's game after one at-bat with an infection in the cuticle of his right ring finger. He was put on antibiotics and is expected to be out for two to three days.

"It was swollen and he couldn't grip the bat," trainer Mark O'Neal said.

Baker compared it to an ingrown toenail and said Ramirez asked to play through it. But when he grimaced after the first at-bat, Baker took him out. Ramirez's sub, Scott Moore, lacerated a finger on his left hand when he was accidentally spiked while sliding.
