So, Dunn trades anger you so much you dedicate your sig to their lunacy. But something just as likely you honestly propose? I mean at least in Dunn trade proposals their getting decent value in return. There's not a single reason(salary, talent, attitude problem) for Florida to do that deal.

Thus the question mark at the end of the proposal. There's a big difference between throwing out some names and writing up a winded post about why a certain trade can and must happen. Do I seriously think they'd take the trade? Not at all. Do I think there's any trade we could reach for him? Not a chance. I thought it might be fun, but I guess i was wrong.

I could see Florida trading for Soriano if Wash. eats part of his salary and the Marlins figure they can flip him later on.

 

Really? I couldn't see it at all. Florida clearly isn't interested in taking on any salary, and Washington's ownership is all 30 MLB owners, so they would have to agree to pay for Soriano to play in Florida.
