First I've heard of it. Thought this would be of interest to some folks:

The documentary will portray the life of the legendary radio/TV broadcaster Harry Christopher Carabina, otherwise known as "Harry Caray," and his 53 years in baseball broadcasting.

 

 

JLT Films/Purple Cow Productions is an Independent Distributor and Production Company headed by Noel Gimbel, Executive Producer of "Hello Again Everybody" for broadcast and DVD distribution.

 

"It is an honor to produce such a high-quality documentary in memory of Harry Caray, one of America's most beloved personalities, entertainer, and the voice of baseball for many years. It is our mission to bring the legend back, along with his huge contribution to baseball, the love of the game, and the wonderful memories he brought to millions of baseball fans for 53 years. Harry Caray is back," stated Gimbel.

This is probably the most exciting news I've heard today (granted it's only 11:15 right now, but still).

I'm going to buy it the first day it came out.

 

Can you believe Friday will be the 8-year anniversary of his death? I can't believe he's been gone that long.

 

What I wouldn't give for just one more game called by Harry Caray and Steve Stone.

Is this going to be old film footage? If you made a move, who would play Harry? Certainly not Will Ferrell!
Since it's a documentary I'd expect it to use old footage and not actors.
