I agree that Walker should be the #2 hitter if still here, but if Jones bats 5th in the lineup I'd rather have Cedeno bat 2nd and Walker 5th just to move Jones out of the 5 spot. At the very least bat Cedeno 2nd and Walker 5th against lefties. Walker may not set the world on fire against lefties, but Jones just flat out SUCKS against lefties. If he bats 5th against lefties we're in trouble.

 

 

It's true we don't know how good Cedeno will be, but I really like the fact he's improved his hitting every year the last 3 years. To me, that's a good sign. He was fifth in the Venz winter league in hitting which was good to see. And yes, I know that's not against major leaguers every night, but its still encouraging.
