Search utility not working

'view your posts' search utility is not functioning. The message you get is that the service is temporarily disabled.

 

It has been temporarily disabled for a couple of weeks now.

Tim had to disable it because that was the cause of the frequent board crashes. The search database had simply grown too large for the board software to handle. Disabling the search function is a temporary fix. Once a permanent fix is implemented (such as archiving old threads) he plans to enable the search function again.

The disabling of the search is by design. Tim has said once he's able to archive some old posts to cut down on the size of the database, he can reintroduce the search function.
