with the inevitable extension for pierre, the cubs have locked themselves into having one of the shittiest offensive outfields in baseball for the next few years. three years for jacque f'in jones is such a pathetic panic move it makes me sick. the cubs have just taken themselves out of the running for any decent outfield bat that becomes available for the next three seasons.
