If there was one thing that I would like to change about this site, it would be to have links to the threads that you're responding to. It sure would come in handy when you're in the middle of a 30-page thread, and someone on page 18 took a quote from a post on page 4!

If you look at the top right of the main index forum you'll see something that says "view unanswered posts". This is the function you're looking for. Unfortunately, it's not working right now because the search function is still disabled. But when the search function is back and working you can click on that link to view the posts that were quoted.

You mean like this? This will only take you back to the page, not to the direct post. The php coding I edited to read:

It will also have issues with Premium/NonPremium

 

The only way to do this right now is to manually edit it, unless there is a way to change it so that when you hit quote, the url is automatically entered, but I'm not sure how.

What she's referring to (I think) is that on the MLB forums, if you reply to a specific post (you can do that without actually quoting the post) your reply includes a link that takes you directly to that specific post. So, for example, if your post is #50 in a thread and you're replying to post #5, your post automatically includes a link directly to post #5. I don't know if the software this board uses has that capability or not.
